Transportation can become an extremely challenging process when combined with treatment fatigue for our patients coming to our dialysis center three days a week (an average of four hours) due to chronic kidney failure. As Bali Dialysis Center, we provide Free Patient Transport (Shuttle) Service with our latest model, air-conditioned and comfortable shuttle vehicles to completely eliminate this stress from our patients and their relatives.
On your treatment days and session hours, you are guaranteed to be picked up from your door accompanied by our friendly drivers specially assigned to you, brought to our center, and safely dropped back home with the same confidence and comfort after treatment. Our transport logistics team, planning the extensive transportation network and traffic of Ankara with minimal impact on patient health, gets you to your machine right on time, preventing unnecessary fatigue and wait times.
Standards and Maintenance of Our Shuttle Vehicles
All vehicles in our patient transport fleet are designed specifically intended only for dialysis patients, 100% compliant with the Ministry of Health's Dialysis Centers Transportation Directive and Roadways standards. The technical features of our vehicles and our applied procedures are:
- Continuous Air Conditioning: Considering the body temperature equalization of our patients who become sensitive before or after dialysis, our vehicles are pleasantly cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter. Heating and cooling systems are regularly maintained and purged.
- High-Level Hygiene: After each daily ring service (transportation round), vehicle interiors are wiped down with general surface disinfectants. By being thoroughly sterilized weekly or periodically with antiviral ozone generators, our chronically ill patients with potentially weakened immunity are protected from infections.
- Comfortable Seating Arrangement: Our shuttle seats are wide, ergonomic, and have seat belts; providing sufficient physical distances to prevent cramped seating for patients just coming out of dialysis treatment or a vascular access (fistula/catheter) intervention.
Support for Disabled and Bariatric (Mobility Restricted) Patients
At Bali Dialysis Center, we adopt the philosophy that "No patient should be held back from their treatment due to transportation issues." For our patients with walking difficulties, wheelchair users, or those who cannot move without an escort, our additional support personnel serve to assist our driver. Upon arrival and departure at the clinic, in-vehicle transfers via hoists and our wheelchairs are safely provided without any risk in the presence of our nurse and support personnel.
Flexible and Punctual Route Planning
The shortest and smoothest routes are drawn by our center's administration using fully digital logistics mapping software based entirely on your residential address. While our shuttle vehicles pick you up from your door before your treatment time, they do not allow for unnecessary waiting (lengthening of patient collection rounds). Whether the home address falls within our service network for patients who wish to transfer is transparently evaluated at the first application.
