Our Social Security Institution (SGK) Agreement
As Bali Dialysis Center, one of our most fundamental principles is to ensure that every citizen can easily access quality and world-class healthcare services without any financial burden. Accordingly, our institution operates under a comprehensive contract with the Republic of Turkey Social Security Institution (SGK).
All our general health insured patients being treated at our center, who are members of SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Emekli Sandığı, as well as their dependents, benefit from our hemodialysis services without paying any difference fee (without copayment) provided they submit their health board report.
Kidney failure is a challenging disease process, and treatment standards must be continuous. We want our patients to focus only on their health and morale without any economic anxiety.
Services Provided Free of Charge Under SGK
The special services utilized by all our registered patients within the framework of our SGK agreement are as follows:
- Routine Hemodialysis Sessions: Dialysis treatments applied at the frequency prescribed by the specialist physician (usually 3 days a week, 4 hours each).
- State-of-the-Art Consumables: Single-use biocompatible dialyzers (artificial kidney filters), blood sets, fistula needles, and dialysate fluids used in treatment are provided by our center without creating any additional burden.
- Medical Tests and Laboratory: Routine monthly blood tests and viral marker checks that must be done according to Ministry of Health standards for treatment follow-up are carried out free of charge in our contracted high-level laboratories.
- Examination and Medical Follow-up: Routine patient visits and follow-up of medicine dosages performed by our responsible specialist physicians and dialysis doctors in every session.
- Dietitian Services: Periodic planning of completely personalized nutrition programs specifically for dialysis patients in line with their clinical findings by our dietitian.
- Special Transportation (Patient Transport) Service: Picking up our patients from their homes, bringing them to the clinic in comfortable vehicles, and safely dropping them back home after treatment is provided free of charge by our center with our modern vehicle fleet with private drivers as part of our package agreement with SGK.
Private Health Insurances and Complementary Health Insurances (TSS)
In addition to state assurance, our service processes are carefully carried out for our patients who have individual and corporate private health insurances. Some Private Health Insurance (Özel Sağlık Sigortası) and Complementary Health Insurance (Tamamlayıcı Sağlık Sigortası) policies may cover dialysis processes with or without limits, depending on the policy terms.
You can get support from the contracted institutions department at our center regarding the dialysis coverage scope of your policy and your insurance company. Provision approval processes from insurance companies are followed up on your behalf by our expert team, preventing you from getting tired with unnecessary paperwork or bureaucratic procedures.
Foreign Insured Patients (Expatriate and Tourist Patients)
We have specific agreements and special invoicing procedures through consulate correspondence aimed at our expatriate citizens living abroad (especially in Germany, Netherlands, France, UK, Switzerland) who spend their summer holidays or visits to relatives in Turkey, as well as for foreign tourists.
Our patients who are affiliated with health funds in European countries (e.g., AOK, TK, Barmer in Germany) and activate their health provisions in Turkey via the SGK Overseas Transactions Office (YUPASS) can also benefit from our dialysis services under our SGK agreement without paying any additional fee. For our patients who have not registered with YUPASS or are using private international health insurance, internationally valid and detailed (English/German) medical billing documents are delivered completely so they can present them to their own institutions.
